Chipotle Brisket with Sweet Potatoes Recipe

For the leanest brisket, ask for the “first” or “flat” cut, without an overly fatty flap lying on top. Trim off any surface fat; there’s plenty left in the fibers to keep the meat moist. Pure chile powder is made with just ground chiles—no oregano or cumin in the mix. Look for it in the spice aisle or near the Southwestern foods.

Ingredients

1 cup beer
2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 chipotle canned in adobo sauce, seeded and minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon pure ancho
chile powder
1 (4-pound) beef brisket, trimmed of surface fat
3½ pounds sweet potatoes,
peeled and cut into 3-inch pieces

Instructions
1. Mix beer, cornmeal, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, salt, chipotle and garlic in a 5- or 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Rub chile powder into brisket; place in slow cooker and turn to coat. Cover and cook on high 6 hours.
3. Add potatoes; cook 3 hours, or until meat is fork-tender.
4. Remove meat and potatoes; skim fat from sauce. Slice meat and return with potatoes to the sauce; cover and keep warm up to 2 hours. Serves 10.
Beef and Black Bean Burgers Recipe

We love veggie burgers, but they unfortunately don’t love the grill—proving to be too tender for it. So, we found a happy medium by adding canned black beans to lean ground beef, for a healthier burger. Serve with guacamole salsa.

Ingredients
1	cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
3/4	pound lean ground beef
¼	cup diced red onion
1	teaspoon chili powder
1/2	teaspoon ground cumin
1/4	teaspoon dried oregano leaves
½	teaspoon salt
Coarsely ground black pepper
4	hamburger buns
Instructions
1. Place drained beans in a large bowl and mash beans with a potato masher. Add beef, onion, chili powder, cumin oregano, salt and pepper; mix to combine. Shape into 4 burgers and grill, broil or pan-fry until cooked through. Place burgers on buns and serve. Serves 4.
1	bay leaf
1	teaspoon dried thyme
1	teaspoon fresh rosemary
4 slices crustless rye bread, cubed (optional)

Buffalo Burgers Stuffed with Blue Cheese Recipe

New York State’s big claim to food fame is buffalo sauce, a mixture of melted butter and hot sauce normally found on fried chicken wings. Watch your tailgating guests gather around the grill to taste a burger variation on the buffalo theme.

Ingredients
4	tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
1?3	cup mild hot sauce (such as Durkee Red Hot)
½	cup finely crumbled blue cheese
1	tablespoon minced garlic
2	pounds ground buffalo or beef chuck, 85 percent lean
½	teaspoon celery seed
1/3	cup finely chopped onion
6	hamburger buns, split

Instructions
1. Before You Go: Melt butter in a small microwaveable bowl or stovetop. Whisk in hot sauce.
2. Mix blue cheese and garlic in small bowl.
3. Using your hands, gently mix buffalo or beef, celery seed, onion and ¼ cup hot sauce mixture in a medium bowl until blended. Using a light touch, form into 12 patties about 4 ½ inches in diameter and no more than ½ inch thick. Spoon about 2 teaspoons of cheese-garlic mixture in center of 6 patties. Top with remaining patties and press together, sealing edges. Refrigerate burgers until ready to grill.
4. When You Get There: Heat grill to medium. Brush and oil grill grate. Grill burgers, covered, 7 to 9 minutes, turning after about 4 minutes, for medium-done (150F, slightly pink). Add 1 minute per side for well-done (160F). Brush with remaining hot sauce mixture during last 2 minutes of cooking. Toast buns if you like. Serves 6.

1 brisket (4 pound to 5 pound)
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 bottle chili sauce
1 cup water
1 large onion, diced
Garlic powder
Coarsely ground black pepper

This recipe uses a slow cooker to cook brisket, so place brisket in cooker.
Sprinkle soup mix on meat and spread chili sauce over top.
Season as desired with garlic powder and black pepper.
Sprinkle diced onions over meat and add water.
Cook 4 hours or until meat is tender.

2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 can beer

Preheat oven to 325F.
1/2 cup bottled Italian dressing
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 (10-ounce) can brown gravy
1 small can sliced mushrooms, undrained

Preheat oven to 300F.
Trim excess fat from brisket.
Season with garlic powder.
Place brisket on heavy duty foil and place on a rimmed baking sheet or glass dish.
Mix remaining ingredients together and pour the mixture over brisket.
Pull foil over brisket and cover loosely, creating a tent.
Bake 1 hour per pound.
Place meat on cutting board and allow to cool.
Slice into thin slices and place back in baking dish without foil.
Pour juices over meat.
Serve immediately or refrigerate to serve later.
To reheat, place dish in 350F oven 30 to 45 minutes.

1 bottle Italian dressing

Place brisket in roasting pan with fat-side up.
16 ounces tomato sauce
Kosher salt
Canola oil
Place a large pot over high heat and add canola oil. Add brisket and brown on all sides.
Reduce heat setting to low.
Remove brisket and pour about half of the tomato sauce into the pot. Add brisket back to pan and cover with onions and remaining sauce.
Cover and simmer for 3 hours, or until tender.
Add salt to taste and serve.

3 or 4 onions, halved or quartered
1 brisket
Vegetable or canola oil
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
9 or 10 garlic cloves
5 or 6 medium potatoes, quartered

In a dutch oven heat the vegetable or canola oil over medium to medium-high heat.
Brown the onions in the oil and remove them from the pan.
Place the brisket in the pan and brown on all sides.
Return the onions to the pan and season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Put garlic in pan and cover.
Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 4 hours, turning brisket occasionally.
Place potatoes in pan during the last 20-30 minutes of cooking.
Remove brisket from pan and slice across the grain.
Thicken gravy in pan with flour, if desired.

How To Create Your Own Internet Store Using WordPress

Learn how to set up a profitable online store to sell your products without spending one single cent on software.

This one hour video tutorial takes you by the hand and shows you how, step by step & detail by detail

Owning your own e-commerce store can be a very lucrative venture. Just look at Amazon.com. They make a killing selling products online.

You can do that too. You probably will never equal Amazon’s sales success, but you can get started on the path to accomplishing your goals. Just like any other business venture, all you need is a good product and people visiting your store.

Since your store will be online it can basically run itself other than the shipping aspect if you are selling physical products.

There is another kind of store you can build that does run on autopilot…..

You don’t have to stock it

You don’t have to ship anything

The payments are all handled automatically.

This type of store deals with digital downloadable goods.

Our videos will show you how to set up your store using free software that handles the entire process no matter what type of store you want to open. If you are running a physical goods store all you have to do is ship the products. If you are going to run a digital download store it is all automatic after you set it up.

This one hour video tutorial will take you step by step through the process of installing the software and setting up your store. In our example we will show you how to set up a store for digitally downloadable goods. The process is virtually the same as setting up a store for physical goods with a couple of exceptions that we talk about in the video series.

Just think – you could have your own store set up and running TODAY just by following the instructions in these videos.

Don’t wait – get started today!

Perhaps you are wondering just what is a “drip feed” membership site. How does it differ from a normal membership site that doesn’t drip feed the content?

Here is a simple explanation that shows the drawbacks of a “non-drip feed membership site” and the advantages of a “drip feed membership site”.

Let’s say that you create a normal membership site. You then put some of your content in it. So, for example, you add a couple of your ebooks. Next you start accepting new members to your membership site in January. You are excited when member #1 signs up right away. He pays his membership subscription for one month and you send him the link to download the two ebooks.

February rolls around and he pays his membership subscription again, for month two, and you send him the link to download two more of your ebooks. Member #1 has now paid you for two months membership and he has downloaded four of your ebooks.

Now let’s further suppose that member #2 also signs up as a new member, but he signs up in February. He pays his membership subscription, for one month (the month of February), and then look what happens? He gets not only the links to download all of the content for February, which is what he paid for, but he also gets all of the links for the content that was made available in January (which he didn’t pay for). So he now has four ebooks, exactly the same as member #1, but he only paid for one month, whereas member #1 paid for two months.

Let’s carry this out even further, perhaps a year later. When someone signs up and pays you for one month, they get to download a whopping twelve months of content.

Not a very good system, right? A person can sign up for your membership site, pay for one month, and they then are allowed to get access to all of the content you have added into your membership site since the day that you started it. This person can then cancel their membership before the next payment comes due, after paying for only one month, and have all of the content that one of your faithful twelve month subscribers got by being a paying member for all twelve months.

This is just not a good way to run a membership site, is it? It is not fair for you, and it is not fair for your loyal long term subscribers.

That’s where drip feed comes into the picture!

With drip feed, when member #1 signs up and pays for month one’s dues, he gets month one’s downloads. When he pays month two’s dues, he gets month two’s downloads. The process continues that way for as long as he remains a member and pays his dues. Member #1 gets exactly what he paid for.

When member #2 signs up in month two, he gets month one’s downloads only, he doesn’t get month two’s downloads. If and when he pays his next month’s dues, he gets month two’s downloads only, and it continues this way for as long as he remains a paying member. Member #2 gets exactly what he paid for.

With drip feed, when someone signs up as a new member a year later, they only get month one’s downloads. They get exactly what they pay for, no more and no less.

So now, with drip feed in place, someone can’t sign up a year after you start your membership site and immediately download a year’s worth of your content, even though they only paid for one month. They would only get one month of content.

That’s a whole lot better way to run a membership site, isn’t it?

It’s fair for you as the site owner, and it’s fair for your customers. You get paid for everything that you deliver, and customers get delivery of everything that they pay for..
